The kids and I had a great day this past Saturday while Daddy was at work (wished he could have been here). Since the weather was so yucky, we had to stay inside but managed to find all kinds of fun things to do!
Between breakfast and nap, we pretty much just played (and of course had snack and lunch!). After nap, I pulled out some of the pills that dissolve in water and let the boys each have one. While we waited to see what they were, we colored a little and had some more snacks.
Dominic got a giraffe and Gabriel got a deer.
After we finished with snack, we had some free playtime. Gabriel found a little place in the dining room to hide and play for a while. Then mommy got to play with the settings on the new camera… I love silhouettes.
While the boys were coloring and playing at the table, Analeigh was napping (she was up playing the whole time they napped), and I decided to start making some baby food for her. I made all of the boys’ baby food and I really want to keep it up with her. I knew we had some apples that were getting very ripe, so apples I made!
The fun didn’t stop when daddy got home! After using the laundry baskets as cars, the boys found a new way to play with them.
And Missy did not miss out on the fun – she loves playing on her playmat.
