Our beautiful girl seems to be growing so fast, but is still in 0-3 month clothes. We are getting a little tired of her always being in pink, so we do what we can to put her in lots of other colors. Of course, part of her wardrobe is a big, obnoxious bow – sorry (but I’m actually not sorry) its just a look I adore on little girls.
Another look we adore for little girls is having their ears pierced. And tonight we finally got Missy’s ears pierced – such a big milestone in a girl’s life! I was totally unaware of the controversy surrounding getting little girls’ ears pierced until I mentioned something about it before she was born. I had my ears pierced (for the first time) when I was a toddler and it has never been a question of “if” we would get our daughter’s ears pierced, but when. Thankfully, my husband shares my view on the subject.
She did very well – was upset for a moment, then upset because she got put back in her carrier, but was asleep before we got to the car!
The pictures we got today don’t really do justice to how good they look… hopefully I can get some better ones this weekend.
I think she looks really cute with her ears pierced! She’s definitely doing better than I am! I waited until I was 15 because I was so freaked out by the thought of someone stabbing a hole in my earlobe! LOL!
The only thought I’d have about piercing a baby’s ears would be about whether or not she’d play with them or accidentally pull them out.
